Class Requests
Here’s the deal:
We can instruct classes anywhere in the U.S. for ACLS and PALS cards. Classes are 8-hrs long and include video instruction, class lecture, and manikin simulated instruction with real equipment. Cards are American Heart Association (AHA) and are valid for 2 years.
Courses are $150 per student per class, and a minimum of 6 students to “make” a class. Discounts are negotiable for groups with over 24 student slots (so 15 students in 2 classes counts as well). An appropriate number of instructors will be sent to meet the needs of the class roster as it stands 2 days before the class begins. Prepayment is necessary (details are here ). A room able to hold approximately twice the number of students sitting in a classroom setting is the only requirement… we provide all projection material, manikins, and videos for instruction.
Classes should be scheduled at least 4 weeks in advance. Students should register and prepay earlier than 5 days prior to the class. International Classes should be scheduled 8 weeks or more in advance.
I’ve noticed that some sites will ask you to “call for a quote…” I feel a set price at least gives you the value I place on the classes, and if you must try for several different quotes on a price, at least you have some metric in what I feel the class is worth. $150 per student is the best I can do in smaller class sizes due to the cost of supplies, instructors, and manikins.
